The Tweten’s
Dream it.
The Tweten’s- who are we? Collin and Kaitlyn started dating in 2014 as high school sweethearts. There was not a moment in their relationship where Collin was not fishing or hunting. If he wasn’t doing it, he was thinking about it. The passion Collin has had for GSO has always been there. Collin did the most he could with the little he had at that young age. While Collin was a full time high school student and athlete, he still worked part time on a dairy farm, so he was able to afford his 1989 Charger bass boat. Collin started doing local club tournaments and I am going to be honest, it was a good day when he caught at least one fish to weigh in. A lot of hard days on the water resulted in great learning experiences alongside some really great mentors.
Build it.
After high school, Collin went straight into the military. For 6 years in the reserves, Collin slowly started to commit more time into building Grind Season Outdoors. He started a Youtube Channel, invested in more gear, signed up for more tournaments, put more time in during the off season, and has spent hours researching about fishing and hunting to learn.
Grow it.
Collin and Kaitlyn continue to grow GSO. Collin now owns his very own 2011 Legend bass boat. Collin has started to commit to more tournaments: local club tourneys, state tourneys, regional tourneys, and BLFs. Collin has advanced in quite a few tourneys, continuing to have great opportunities to learn more and more.
